Corrections Policy
When we make a factual mistake, we correct it. When a story develops, we update it. When wording is unclear, we clarify it without hiding the change.
What we correct
A correction is appropriate when published information is materially inaccurate, misleading, or incorrectly attributed. This includes names, figures, dates, quotes, on-chain metrics, token details, and descriptions of events.
How updates appear
Not every change is a correction. Stories may also receive clarifications, added context, or developing-news updates as new verified information becomes available.
- •Corrections address an error in the published record.
- •Clarifications improve precision or context without reversing the core fact pattern.
- •Developing-news updates expand a live story as new facts are confirmed.
Review workflow
Reported errors are reviewed by the editorial desk. If a material error is confirmed, we update the article and revise the language that created the problem.
We prefer visible correction behavior over silent changes when the original wording could have misled readers.
